Choosing Colors

ORANGE - Gives off a cheerful aura, bold,
exciting, friendly and informal. Rust colors in living room or family room are
inviting and gives a feeling of casualness.

YELLOW - Most visible color. Gold tones create
an atmosphere of richness or can be construed as antique.

BLUE - America's favorite color. Reminds
of blue skies and deep blue oceans. Feelings of serenity and openness.

GREEN - Natures favorite color. Soothing
to many people. Hunter green is associated with country life. Jade green reminds
us of jewels. Works well in dining rooms.

VIOLET - Royalty and wealth. Purple and violet
are luxurious colors. Women love this color for bedrooms.

BROWN - Associated with nature. Red-browns
are more formal and work great in living rooms and great rooms.

WHITE - Symbolizes freshness, purity and cleanliness. Favorite color for
walls

BLACK - Authoritative. Too much black is depressing, but when used right,
blended with other colors it makes a statement.

GRAY - Elegant. Gray trimmed with white is
classy for both interior and exterior.
