AREA RUG CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Regular thorough vacuuming of your rug will prolong its beauty and provide years of use.

For best results, vacuum in different directions, making several passes over the area.
Professional cleaning is recommended. When spills occur, blot them immediately (never rub) with a clean undyed towel or cloth, pressing firmly to absorb as much liquid as possible. Then follow manufacture's cleaning instructions on the rug label or better yet, have it professionally cleaned.

Hook rugs often show little ends of yarn that pop up with use. These are called sprouts. They are characteristic of hooked rugs, not a defect. NEVER PULL A SPROUT. Cut it off level with the rest of the pile with scissors or push it down with a crochet hook.

Rotating or repositioning the rug every six months will change the traffic pattern on the rug's surface and increase the life of the rug.
